Homeric Magazine accepts work across genres, as long as it connects to the world of ancient civilizations — primarily Greek and Roman, though Egyptian and even Medieval pieces may also be considered. Born from a love of mythology and the timeless power of myths, our goal is to capture that same wonder and transform it into something you can hold and enjoy. Maybe you want to explore how mythology inspires modern adaptations, or perhaps you’re a poet or artist who can capture the essence of the ancient world. We welcome essays, articles, short prose, poetry, and art. If you’ve got photographs from past trips to museums or ancient sites tucked away on your camera roll — send them in! We’re also looking for artists ready to bring this vision to life.
